While being a professor and a research associate at universities in Russia, the USA and the UK, he works full time as artistic director of the Menagerie Theater Company in Cambridge, England.
Menagerie is one of the leading British companies in commission of new plays intended for national and international tours. In the theater world, Paul has been the art director of The Frankfurt Playhouse in Germany and the Center’s New York stage, lecturer at the Leicester School of Performing Arts, guest lecturer at Harvard University, and full-time director of directing at New York University.
He has a master’s degree in performance and he has directed more than 70 professional theater productions around the world. In the business world, he has been a program director, consultant trainer and a leading trainer for more than 100 clients including Sberbank, Bank of China, McLaren Formula 1 racing team, Nissan Cars, Liverpool Football Club, BBC and Zurich Insurance. He has also created tailor-made creative and cultural programs for many clients, including Virgin, Arts Council England, Creative Enterprise UK, US Government, and Dubai Stock Exchange (DIFC).
Currently, Paul is a research associate at Creative Engagement at Cambridge University, the UK. There he also leads the Faculty Development Program, teaches at the MBA, teaches graduate studies in entrepreneurship, as well as engagement-oriented leadership programs. In addition, Paul is an assistant professor at the Skolkovo Moscow Business School and the Stockholm School of Economics in Russia.
